Privacy policy
Short version: your data stays on your device.
What Paper Shapes collects
Paper Shapes doesn't collect your data. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it doesn't send your information to me or anyone else. I don't run a server for Paper Shapes.
What stays on your device
Activities you make, your progress and your settings are stored on your device and shared with the Paper Shapes widget on the same device. If you include the app in an iCloud or iTunes backup, they are backed up with it, as with any app.
Microphone
Paper Shapes asks to use the microphone so a child can blow or clap to move a story along. It only listens for how loud the sound is. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
Motion
Tilting a story uses the device's motion sensors while you play. That information is used on the spot and isn't stored or sent anywhere.
Read aloud
Stories are read aloud using the voices built into your device. Apple's privacy policy applies to those voices.
Sharing activities
If you share an activity you made, you choose where it goes using the system share sheet. Paper Shapes doesn't send it anywhere itself.
Children
Paper Shapes is made for young children. Because it collects nothing, there is nothing about a child to collect, store or share.
Changes and questions
If this policy changes, I'll update this page. Questions? Email papershapes@ozbe.dev.
